Oahu has an awesome bus system that you can take just about anywhere you'd want to see, like the Dole plantation, around the island, to the North Shore, to Pearl Harbor. Hotels are usually ok because they are built to keep the noise down to a minimum. Condos, however are not. Many people who stay at condos complain that early-morning parking lot noise or late-night pool noise intrudes on their sleep. What we do is bring or buy a fan (I like the big box fans you can usually get at walmart for $10.00) and turn it on at night to drown out any of those noises.

We Went For a Morning Swim At Hanauma Bay! - Hanauma Bay is a protected underwater Nature preserve, and if you took your nets and bucket down here you'd get in big trouble. I think you can still feed the fish here - but don't touch them and for sure don't catch them!!
